All good things must come to an end

All good things must come to an end.

We know that the Lord is moving our family to discontinue support for El-Shaddaih Orphanage. During the last 7-8 years, our non-profit, Blessings for El-Shaddaih, has assisted with the building of the infrastructure of the orphanage.

This includes the following things:
1) The church and primary school building
2) The boy’s dorm
3) The girl’s dorm
4) The secondary school building
5) The school lab building
6) The permanent perimeter wall
7) Purchase of a vehicle
8) Some odds and ends, such as plumbing, electrical, water facilities, etc.

We have also educated the children. Some are going to college and breaking the cycle of poverty in their families and the country of Malawi. There were 38 children when we began our relationship with the orphanage. Now, there are 222. The El-Shaddaih Orphanage has grown beyond our ability to manage, monitor and finance what is going on. At this time, we are eliminating BESI, the non-profit organization. Anyone who wants to make contributions can do so directly to the orphanage. You can contact them on Facebook to make that happen.

We so love that place and will continue to pray for the kids.
